Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery and General Laborer to join our team. This role involves delivering products to customers, assisting with warehouse operations, and supporting various labor tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and experience in warehouse or commercial driving environments. Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods using moving equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks.
- Perform heavy lifting of items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Support warehouse activities including inventory management, organizing stock, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during all tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Experience operating forklifts or other moving equipment is a plus.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license (CDL) and ability to drive a truck and trailer and back up to job sites.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor consistently throughout the shift.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail in handling deliveries and inventory.
- Reliable transportation to work location with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
