We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a line cook. Located in Toronto, this role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional food experiences that reflect our commitment to quality and community values.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve delicious hot sandwiches and deli items with care and attention to quality.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure all ingredients are handled safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas.
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a friendly atmosphere.
- Follow food safety protocols at all times.
- Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth service.
- Contribute to the overall positive environment of the shop.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service, cooking, or restaurant environments.
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Passion for quality food and community engagement.
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks as needed.
- Prior experience in the food industry is preferred.
