Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber or HVAC technician to join our team. Lead hand, journeyperson.
*Redseal certification is required for this application.*
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, ensuring that installations and repairs are completed to the highest standards.
Trouble shooting and problem solving required

This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Work includes service, retrofits, renovations and construction.
Experience with Poly B replacement an asset. Service experience an asset. Experience with furnace retrofits and ductwork an asset.
Must be willing to learn and adaptable to different construction skills. Flexibility across plumbing/hvac may be necessary.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment for various plumbing tasks.
- Solder/braze
- Perform heavy lifting as required for installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or needed repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes during all plumbing activities.
- Use multimeter, understand electrical controls
- Clean driving abstract preferred
Experience
- Proven experience in plumbing or a related field is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with carpentry, drywall removal/installation, dust control, construction practices.
- Knowledge of electrical controls and HVAC troubleshooting an asset
- Experience with variety of piping also an asset. Sheet metal, steel, plastic, copper
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Code book knowledge essential.
- Experience with assembly of plumbing fixtures and components is essential. Installing/replacing basic fixtures.
