Part-Time Tutor (Grades 7–12 – All Subjects)
Location: Vteach Learning Centre – Summerside, Edmonton AB
Schedule: Evenings (4:30 PM – 8:00 PM) & Saturdays (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Start: May–June 2026, with continuation from September 2026 to June 2027
About the Role
Vteach Learning Centre is seeking a motivated and versatile Tutor to support students in Grades 7–12 across core academic subjects, including Math, English, and Science, aligned with the Alberta curriculum.
This role is ideal for someone who can build strong academic foundations, support students across multiple subject areas, and adapt instruction based on individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions aligned with the Alberta curriculum
- Support students with concepts, assignments, and assessments across multiple subjects
- Adapt instruction based on student learning levels and needs
- Track progress and maintain clear lesson notes
- Foster a focused, supportive, and professional learning environment
Education Requirements
- Post-secondary education in progress or completed is required
- Candidates pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Engineering, or a related field are strongly preferred
- For teaching Grades 10–12, candidates should be in their final year or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area
Qualifications
- Strong academic foundation, particularly in Math (Grades 7–10 required; higher grades an asset)
- Comfortable supporting students across multiple subjects (Math, English, Science)
- Strong communication and instructional skills
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is an asset

Pay
- $16–$18/hour (based on experience and subjects taught)
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
