Overview
We are seeking dedicated Poultry Farm Workers to join our team and contribute to the efficient operation of our poultry farm. This role involves hands-on work in a dynamic agricultural environment, supporting the care and management of poultry, maintaining farm facilities, and ensuring animal welfare. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and an interest in farm operations. Prior experience with farm machinery or mechanical knowledge is a plus, but training will be provided for specific tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a rewarding agricultural setting with a focus on animal care and farm maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Feed, water, and monitor the health of poultry to ensure proper growth and well-being
- Assist with cleaning and sanitation of poultry housing and equipment
- Operate farm machinery such as feed trucks, conveyors, and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm equipment and facilities
- Assist with egg collection, sorting, and packaging when applicable
- Maintain cleanliness of the farm environment and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks among poultry
- Heavy lifting of supplies, feed bags, or equipment as needed to support daily operations
Experience
- Previous experience working on a farm or in agricultural settings is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with farm machinery is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Willingness to learn about poultry care practices and farm operations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe working environment
