Job Title: Red Seal Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our team in Saint John. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs.
- Communicate effectively with all parties regarding vehicle issues, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- May provide mentorship to junior technicians or apprentices.
- Complete all required Kia training programs including EV certification
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Red Seal Certification (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
