Responsibilities:
- Assist the Commercial Property Manager in all necessary tasks as needed for a diverse set of office/retail/industrial assets.
- Support tenant businesses by being an engaged and supportive first point of contact for a variety of commercial tenants.
- Effectively manage the facilities of each property by working with a variety of contractors. This may include vendor quoting, liaison, and/or service quality control.
- Maintain all digital records for the properties in an organized and complete fashion
- Facilitate commercial tenant move-in/move-out procedures
- Work with accounting team to facilitate rent set-up & coordination
- Basic lease documentation and lease document coordination
- Assisting with yearly additional rent budgeting/reconciliation process
Requirements:
- At least 1 year experience working for a property management company; ideally commercially focused
- Have concise communication skills in English, verbal and written*
- Experience in Microsoft Office programs:
- Word: mail merge; text boxes, creating specialized documents
- Excel: formatting spreadsheets; basic to intermediate formulas; working with multi sheet workbooks
- Outlook: managing mail and contacts; tasks; reminders
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn and navigate other software programs and websites
- Customer service oriented; Comfortable and confident with phone communication
- Be attentive to detail and skilled at prioritization and time management
Work From Home:
- Taurus is primarily an in-office work environment. We aim to be the best in our industry, and believe our best work happens in the office. We also are a tight knit team, and do not hide cultural fractures by keeping colleagues physically separated. That said, we appreciate WFH is a valuable perk and offer 1-2 days at home with tenure and experience. The first 6 months of this roll will be 100% in office.
