Electrical Foreman-Relocate to Vancouver, BC.
Our Vancouver client, a trusted premier electrical contractor to many lower mainland builders, commercial contractors, property managers and home and business owners, is recruiting for an On Site Electrical Foreman.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Electrical Foreman will take full ownership of high-end commercial ICI projects across the Lower Mainland/ This is a leadership role for someone who is confident running jobs from start to finish, managing crews and ensuring high-quality electrical execution in premium commercial environments. Supervise and coordinate a team of Electricians and Apprentices on construction or maintenance projects. Lead day-to-day work assignments, interpret electrical blueprints, ensure all installations meet strict code requirements, order materials and enforce on-site safety protocols.
Core Responsibilities
- Crew Leadership: Direct, mentor, and motivate field teams of 5-10+ Electricians and Apprentices. Evaluate performance and assign daily tasks.
- Project Execution: Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics and contract documents to determine installation procedures. Manage project timelines to ensure milestones are met and on budget.
- Quality & Code Compliance: Ensure all wiring, fixtures and control devices are installed in accordance with the latest electrical codes and specifications.
- Safety Enforcement: Conduct daily on-site safety briefings, enforce PPE requirements and ensure hazard identification and compliance with local safety regulations.
- Material Management: Determine quantities of wire, panel boards and hardware required. Requisition materials, track inventory and report progress to project managers.
- Troubleshooting & Coordination: Diagnose complex electrical malfunctions using testing devices. Coordinate work transitions with other trades (e.g., Plumbers, General contractors) on site.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for leading electrical projects including new construction, tenant improvements and renovations. Managing crews and subcontractors on site, overseeing scheduling, materials and project progress. Ensuring all work is completed to code and to a high standard. Tracking labour and materials through project management systems, coordinating change orders and inspections and communicating with both internal teams and clients as required.

Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2+ years of Electrical Foreman experience running electrical projects
- Strong commercial electrical code knowledge
- Hands-on experience with conduit, BX, distribution, lighting controls, and low voltage rough-ins.
- Fire alarm and suppression systems experience is also required.
- A natural leader who can train and motivate crews, maintain site standards, and take accountability for project outcomes.
- Able to use project management software to track progress, labour, materials, and changes.
