We are currently looking to hire a Baker / Pastry assistant
General duties include setting up and stocking stations, preparing & baking items such as cookies, breads, crepes, danishes and more. Will be weighing and mixing ingredients, washing/preparing vegetables and using equipment such as ranges and deep fryers. Must maintain a pristine work station, be comfortable stocking bakery case and adhere to Food Safety guidelines and to our standards.
Requirements:
- This position will report and take direction from the head Baker
* Must have a minimum of 1 year of pastry or baking experience
** Must have experience making cookies and bakery items from start to finish
- Must be comfortable in a fast paced environment.
- Team player with ability to follow direction & can work independently
Schedule:
* Must be available to work up to 5 days a week, flexible Monday - Sunday
* Must be available to work every Saturday & Sundays on rotation
- Typically 7:30am -3:00pm shifts
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
