We are seeking an HVAC Helper to join our team. You’ll assist with heat pump and AC installations, ERV/HRV installations, air balancing and HVAC commissioning and more. This role is an excellent stepping stone for someone pursuing a career in HVAC installation.

What We Do
- New construction residential (HRVs, ERVs, central and ductless heat pumps, sheet metal ducting)
- Residential and light commercial retrofits (ductless, central heat pumps, furnaces)
- Light commercial (RTUs, split systems, commercial ventilation systems)
- Commercial balancing and HVAC commissioning
Duties
- Assist lead installers with HVAC system installations according to specifications and schematics.
- Support routine maintenance and basic repairs on existing HVAC units under supervision.
- Help troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems and relay findings to the lead technician.
- Handle and organize tools, materials, and equipment on job sites; help build, plumb, and prepare components.
- Assist with cutting and assembling ducting and basic sheet metal work as directed.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations by following instructions and company safety practices.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Provide professional customer service by representing the company courteously and addressing basic client inquiries or directing them to the lead technician.
Skills & Qualifications
- Interest in HVAC systems and willingness to learn.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
- Able to follow instructions, read simple drawings or schematics, and take direction from experienced installers.
- Experience in plumbing, brazing, or sheet metal is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, good problem-solving instincts, and reliable work ethic.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
