Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued. Prior custodial experience, especially in hotel housekeeping, is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of hotel rooms, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas according to established standards
- Hotel Laundry, including, bedding, towels and cleaning cloths and uniforms
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality of service
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience is preferred, especially in commercial settings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to safety standards
