Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Boom Truck Driver to join our team in. The ideal candidate will operate boom trucks and related equipment to assist with construction and industrial projects. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and customer service. The Boom Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring efficient material handling and project completion while maintaining high safety standards.
Duties
- Operate boom trucks, cranes, and forklifts to lift, move, and position materials at construction or industrial sites
- Perform rigging and load securing to ensure safe transportation of materials
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Coordinate with team members and site managers to execute tasks efficiently
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding project needs and safety protocols
- Assist with setup, dismantling, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or industrial environments, with specific experience operating boom trucks or cranes preferred
- Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements for operating boom trucks and cranes
- Mechanical knowledge related to rigging, crane operation, and equipment maintenance
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse teams and clients
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively on-site and with clients
- Knowledge of safety standards related to crane operation, rigging, and construction sites
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients and team members
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads as required
