Duties
- Install, repair, and replace tires, ensuring proper mounting, balancing, and alignment for optimal vehicle performance
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs using power tools and hand tools efficiently and accurately
- Perform basic vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues or maintenance needs
- Assist customers by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs under supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency
- Support the sales team by providing knowledgeable input on tire options and maintenance packages
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy tires or equipment repeatedly throughout the day safely
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the automotive industry
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
