Staff play a critical role in providing a safe, therapeutic, and nurturing home environment for children and youth between the ages of 0-13. We are seeking candidates with one or more of the following qualifications:
- -Child and Youth Care (CYW) Diploma or Degree
- -Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma
- -Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
- -Developmental Services Worker (DSW)
- -Bachelor or Diploma in relevant social service
- -Indigenous Studies with direct child and family support experience
- -Other related post-secondary education in Human Services
- Equivalent education combined with extensive residential or child and youth support experience will also be considered.

Experience with Behaviour Support Plans, Safety Plans, Individual Plans of Care, and Goal Planning is highly desirable.
Candidates should possess or be willing to obtain:
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
- Valid Broad Sector Check
- Child welfare check
- Crisis intervention Training
- Valid Ontario Driver's License (Class G)
- 3-year certified driving record

Residential staff are responsible for:
- Providing 24-hour care and supervision.
- Building healthy, therapeutic relationships with children and youth.
- Supporting emotional regulation and behavioural goals.
- Assisting with daily living skills, routines, and life skills development.
- Supporting educational goals and activity participation.
- Transporting children to appointments, school, and activities.
- Completing documentation, incident reports, and daily logs.
- Implementing Plans of Care, Safety Plans, and Behaviour Support Plans.
- Collaborating with clinical teams, Children's Aid Societies, schools, healthcare providers, and families.
- Responding effectively during crises while maintaining a safe environment.
