NexGen is seeking a dedicated Facility Attendant for our remote Rook I site. The position offers rotational shifts, with individual accommodations and bathrooms provided during your on-site time. Reporting to the Site Services Facility Attendant L2, the Site Services Facility Attendant L1 is responsible for ensuring the Rook I camp’s shared facilities remain clean, up to health and safety regulations, and the camp environment is comfortable for all occupants.
Location
This position will be based at the Rook I site on a 2 week in/2 week out schedule. NexGen’s Rook I Project Site is located approximately 155km north of La Loche, Saskatchewan.

Daily cleaning of all shared facilities including offices, washrooms, laundry and dry facilities, recreational room, and kitchen.
- Clean accommodations on an as needed basis.
- Complete daily inspections and proactive tasks on a scheduled basis.
- Inventory all required supplies and submit orders of supplies and materials needed.
- Adhere to all camp policies and health and safety regulations pertaining to the work site.
- Participate and excel in safety leadership, i.e., engagement of proper personal protective equipment, communicate any hazards to supervisor, participate in FLHAs.
- Other duties as required.

Successful NexGen Student or Pathways program employee.
- Able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
- Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience would be considered an asset.
- Experience with inventory management and work documentation.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and flexible to take on a multitude of tasks.
- Valid Driver's License.
