Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 3rd or 4th year plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. As an apprentice Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
Duties
- Assemble and install plumbing systems according to specifications and local codes.
- Maintain existing plumbing systems by performing regular inspections and repairs.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Read blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks.
- Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge in troubleshooting issues with plumbing systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a 3rd or 4th year Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Ability to operate various power tools safely.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
