Howitt Construction is a busy earthmoving company, based out of Red Deer, who specialize in road re-construction projects, new landfill and lagoon cells, and site preparation for residential/industrial and commercial developments.
We're looking for experienced flaggers for a road construction project west of Sylvan Lake AB, between Benalto & Eckville on Hwy 11. Project start is approx July 20th.
Site Specific Details
- Arrive to shift Fit for Duty,
- Physically able to stand for periods of time holding flagging signage,
- Provide a valid Flagger Training ticket,
- Complete all required training,
- Engage in acceptable radio communication.
Work Details
- 7am - 6pm, 7 days a week,
- 4 day long weekends off,
- Must have valid WHMIS & Flagger ticket.
Scope of Work
- Bring and maintain the required PPE in good working order,
- Maintain and keep signage clean and free of debris,
- Work independently or in a team setting,
- Safely work on the ground near heavy equipment,
- Work near/around high traffic areas and motorists.
PPE Requirements
- Hard hat,
- Steel toed boots,
- Gloves.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
