Position Overview: Supervise the dogs while maintaining a safe, fun and clean atmosphere. LOT'S OF DOG WALKING! Please do not apply if you are planning to go back to school in the fall.
Essential Job Functions:
- Love and respect for all dogs. Understanding of their needs and wants is a must
- Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds to take out the poop bucket. Must poop scoop every 15 minutes
- An overall understanding of all Dogtrix Inc. standards, values, and mission statement.
Staff Management:
- Act as a team player by maintaining positive relationships in the workplace.
- We’ll teach you everything you need to know about dog behavior, safety, and positive reinforcement handling. But we do love someone who’s a quick learner, reliable, and ready to bring some positive energy to the pack.
Requirements:
- Balance of people skills and canine knowledge
- Ability to handle the hustle and bustle of a loud, active environment
- High-energy, positive attitude
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (interacting with our clients and pups positively!)
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with calmness and professionalism
- Positive, outgoing attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow with the company
- Have strong team player qualities; get excellent performance reviews from their co-workers
- Have FLEXIBLE work hours; must be able to work Monday- Friday
- Shift we are looking to fill is 7 am - 12 pm OR 5:45 am - 11 am AND 12:30 pm - 6 pm - Please specify what shift you are interested in.
