Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part time Morning Opening Member to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth start to our operations each day. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer transactions
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Skills
- Experience in food preparation and handling within the food industry
- Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Micros POS, is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus, including serving and cashiering roles
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
- Smart Serve license required
