Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, with experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic and Dentrix. Experience in pediatric dentistry and proficiency with CAD/CAM technology are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Utilize dental software such as Epic and Dentrix to document patient records accurately
- Conduct various dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Use CAD/CAM technology for designing and fabricating dental restorations when applicable
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Stay current on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuous education
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state dental license and ability to practice dentistry legally in the state
- Experience with dental office management systems such as Dentrix; familiarity with Epic is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting preferred
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM technology is desirable
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient care approach
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and manage multiple priorities
