Curriculum & Graphic Design Assistant
This a full-time, 8-week, fully virtual position focused on building educational resources, curriculum materials, workbooks, worksheets, and design projects that support students and communities across Canada.
- Assist in developing and updating instructional materials, including digital content, presentations, and course modules
- Support the creation of multimedia graphics and visual aids using tools like Adobe Captivate and other graphic design software
- Contribute to project management tasks related to curriculum development timelines and deliverables
- Help maintain and update Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard, ensuring content accuracy and accessibility
- Collaborate with teaching staff to design engaging classroom activities and training modules
- Support the integration of instructional design principles into course materials for online and in-person learning environments
- Aid in preparing presentation materials for training sessions, workshops, or classroom instruction
- Assist in writing clear, concise instructional content and supporting documentation
Qualifications
- Experience or background in content development, instructional design, or related fields
- Proficiency with Adobe Captivate, Blackboard LMS, and other e-learning authoring tools
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines effectively
- Excellent writing skills with attention to clarity and detail
- Familiarity with training & development processes and classroom teaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of LMS platforms and experience designing engaging online courses
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, designers, and technical teams
- Presentation skills for delivering training sessions or instructional demonstrations
- Prior classroom experience is a plus but not mandatory; a passion for education is essential
