Overview
UUJO Contracting LP is seeking a safety-focused and experienced Lowbed Driver to join our team in Fort St. John, BC. As an Indigenous-owned company, we provide civil construction, earthworks, and heavy hauling in Northeast BC.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of heavy equipment to and from job sites, ensuring all loads are properly secured and transported in compliance with applicable regulations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, reliability, and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have experience hauling heavy equipment, excellent knowledge of transportation regulations, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.
- Required certifications: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, TDG, Ground Disturbance Level 2
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating lowbed and heavy-haul equipment.
- Ability to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
