Grand Contracting is seeking an experienced and motivated Waterproofing Foreman to lead residential and commercial waterproofing projects throughout Thunder Bay and surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, job site organization, safety, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise waterproofing crews on-site
- Coordinate daily job activities and ensure projects stay on schedule
- Read and understand project scopes and site requirements
- Perform foundation excavation, crack repairs, waterproofing membrane installation, drainage board installation, and weeping tile systems
- Operate and oversee the safe operation of excavation equipment when required
- Ensure quality control and maintain high workmanship standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
- Train and mentor crew members
Qualifications
- Previous experience in foundation waterproofing, excavation, drainage, or related construction fields
- Proven leadership and crew management experience
- Ability to read plans and follow project specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid Driver's License (Class G minimum)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Equipment operation experience is considered a strong asset
