Sarana Tile Hamilton is currently looking for a self-motivated full-time Warehouse and local delivery driver (large cube van) who are enthusiastic, hardworking, and driven towards success. The ideal candidates are expected to uphold the highest safety standards in all that they do. You are team-oriented, enjoy working with others, and thrive in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment. Able to make local deliveries, and handle heavy merchandise with great care. As an integral member of our team, you are responsible for shipping and receiving inventory, moving merchandise between warehouse bins, loading and unloading delivery trucks, assisting with customer pickups and deliveries to the job site, and performing all general warehouse duties. Available to work Saturdays. Must have a Full G drivers licence (min.of 3 years).
As a successful candidate you should have the following:
- 1-year of previous warehouse experience as an asset
- Possess a valid G license, with a clean driving record. (min.3yrs in Canada)
- Ability to read and understand documents such as directions and safety manuals
- Good verbal communication skills and problem-solving.
- The ability to take and pass the company’s certified training is an assist
- Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 70 lbs in warm and cold conditions
- A flexible schedule may require Saturdays
- Pay Range from $19hr to $20hr
