We are recruiting for a Coordinator, Professional Resources to join our team in our Calgary office. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in a professional services or similar environment, and will be responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle through recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, compensation and HR administration, coordinating talent programs and regulatory processes, providing administrative support, maintaining HR records and reporting, and contributing to continuous process improvement and team collaboration. As a Coordinator, Professional Resources (14-month contract) you will be responsible for:

Recruitment and selection activities

Conflict management processes

Onboarding, integration, and national orientation programs

Employee and student off-boarding processes

Leaves of absence and secondments

Performance management programs and processes
-
Work allocation coordination

Compensation-related initiatives and administration

Partnership admission processes

Mentor matching programs and mentor recognition awards

Law school relationship management and student recruitment initiatives

Law society filings and regulatory compliance requirements

HR and talent data collection, reporting, and record maintenance

Employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and social events
Administration

Managing calendars and scheduling meetings

Preparing materials for meetings and attending where appropriate

Administering confidential files in OneDrive

Creating and maintaining intranet (espresso) pages
Shared Services and Teamwork

Identifying PR processes, tasks, and project improvement opportunities and collaborating with PRG team and Firm members to improve

Learning about changes in technology and ways to enhance work such as AI, Workday, viGlobal, MS Teams, MS Forms, MS Bookings, SharePoint and Client Connect

Providing back-up support to the team

Other general support, as required
As our ideal candidate, you will distinguish yourself by the following profile:

Post-Secondary education in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in a professional services (or similar) environment

Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills

Exceptional client service skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities

Flexibility to new ideas, frequent change in priorities, etc.
