Cioffi's Group is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting food products to various locations within the local Metro Vancouver area, while providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate should possess a valid driver's license, have excellent English communication skills, and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to various locations
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts
- Plan and follow designated routes for timely and accurate deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and completing necessary paperwork
What You Have:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license or higher.
- Clean driver's abstract
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers
- Ability to lift and carry 40kg or more
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Availability to work full time hours from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and Saturdays as required. (Hours may vary depending on requirement).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
