Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatch Admin & Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in managing transportation logistics, coordinating shipments, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties
- Manage transportation scheduling and dispatch using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as SyteLine and AS400.
- Coordinate freight shipments, shipping, and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery and pickup.
- Maintain accurate data entry related to shipments, inventory, and customer orders.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems to handle customer inquiries, provide updates, and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support supply chain operations by tracking freight status, analyzing shipment data, and preparing reports for management.
- Collaborate with 3PL providers to streamline logistics processes and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
- Assist with shipping documentation, freight analysis, and inventory management tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to transportation and logistics.
Skills
- Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), SyteLine, AS400, and shipping & receiving software.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent analysis skills for evaluating shipment data and identifying process improvements.
- Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and professional interaction via multi-line phone systems.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization.
- Strong typing skills for quick data input and documentation.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, freight management, and third-party logistics (3PL) operations.
- Exceptional organizational skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role is essential for maintaining efficient logistics operations while delivering outstanding customer service. Pay: From $36,709.44 per year
