Job Summary
Truman is seeking a Project Coordinator – Single Family Construction to support the coordination and administration of single-family and duplex home projects from project setup through pre-construction and construction.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple active files at once. The Project Coordinator plays a key role in keeping projects moving by coordinating documents, submissions, schedules, approvals, and follow-up across internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and field staff.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are organized, accurate, and progressing on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain project files, folders, and trackers
- Coordinate drawings, revisions, and sign-offs
- Prepare and track architectural control submissions
- Request and track structural and shop drawings
- Prepare and submit routine permit applications and supporting documents
- Process warranty and utility applications
- Prepare and issue construction schedules
- Support site teams with file information, permit uploads, and inspection documents
- Track and manage client upgrades and change orders
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure current information is clearly organized
- Follow up on outstanding items and escalate issues when needed
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in residential construction, project coordination, pre-construction, administration, or a similar role
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is preferred
- Recent graduates with relevant education, co-op, or internship experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time
- Comfortable working with consultants, suppliers, sales teams, and field staff
- Experience with document control, file organization, and project tracking tools
- Experience reviewing residential drawings, permits, approvals, or technical project documents is an asset
- Experience in Calgary and surrounding municipalities is an asset

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
