Part time position in a unique and fun antique, vintage and eclectic treasures shop in Stony Plain, AB!
Looking for a great place to work part time, 2-3 scheduled shifts per week and fill in as needed during busy times and summer events? Interested in antiques and vintage items, unique treasures? We might have a spot for you! We are looking for someone with a good sense of humour, ability to laugh with co-workers and customers, who provides top of the line & friendly customer service.
Requirements
- Previous retail experience including opening, cash, customer service, merchandising
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent customer service skills
- Marketing experience on all social media platforms
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent
- Experience or willingness to learn furniture refinishing
- Ability to lift and move items including some heavier furniture pieces
- Ability to be on your feet for most of a shift
- Flexible availability including full weekdays, weekends and evening events
- Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
Roles
- Provide excellent and efficient customer service including greeting customers, assisting as necessary, sales
- Independently opening and closing of store, including cash out
- Creative social media posting in consultation with current social media managers
- Cleaning and organizing in shop as necessary
- Assisting with shop presentation including finishing furniture and redoing/creating displays
