Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our North of Ordinary team.
Responsibilities
- operating the computer POS system,
- assisting customers to find their ideal kitchenware and beddings via phone/email,
- handle packaging and preparation of online orders for shipment,
- curating relevant display based on stock and current promotions,
- working with our digital marketing team for marketing purpose,
- mentor and provide guidance to your junior staff,
- receiving, pricing, displaying, and storing inventory,
- operate a commercial espresso machine
Experiences
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with kitchenwares, beddings, tea, coffee and spices.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management effectively.
- Prior experience in busy work environment.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- The job requires long hours of standing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
