Job Description and Responsibilities
Help build a skilled, safe, and confident workforce by joining InterPro Pipe + Steel as a Training Coordinator! In this dynamic role, you'll deliver engaging technical, operational, and safety training, support employee development from day one, and partner with site leadership to drive training excellence. - Deliver frontline technical, operational, and safety training programs
- Lead new employee orientation in coordination with site leadership
- Coordinate all aspects of training including scheduling, attendance, and logistics
- Maintain training systems, records, and databases with a high level of accuracy
- Develop and update training materials (classroom, online, and OJT)
- Support LMS implementation and ongoing system improvements
- Act as a key resource to plant leadership, supporting training priorities and workforce development
- Influence training outcomes through strong engagement and collaboration with site teams
- Monitor and report on training effectiveness and workforce competency
- Identify and recommend improvements to training programs, systems, and delivery approaches
Partner with the broader Canadian Training team to drive consistency and best practices

Requirements
- Grade 12, or equivalency program
- Two years’ experience in training coordination, learning & development, or similar role Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred
- Experience with training systems and continuous improvement
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Strong organization and coordination capability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training systems (Workday LMS preferred)
- Knowledge of industrial safety training programs (e.g., confined space, mobile equipment)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
