We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between patients and providers, ensuring a seamless treatment planning process. The Treatment Coordinator will manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, and facilitate treatment discussions to promote optimal patient care and satisfaction.
Duties
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through treatment options and answering their questions with clarity and professionalism.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and organizational standards.
- Educate patients on procedures, financial responsibilities, and post-treatment care to foster informed decision-making.
- Assist in verifying insurance benefits and explaining coverage details to patients transparently.
- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes patient comfort, trust, and engagement throughout their treatment journey.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a medical or dental office setting, with familiarity in handling patient interactions and administrative duties.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
- Experience managing electronic medical records systems with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to diverse patient populations.
- Office experience is essential; dental office experience is highly desirable for understanding specific treatment workflows.
- A background in healthcare administration or related fields is preferred but not required.
