Job Summary
We are seeking talented and passionate Chefs to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service, extensive culinary experience and training, and skills that are crucial in maintaining consistency, and creativity in a restaurant or food service establishment . As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing various kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan menus, special events and seasonal menus.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order as necessary to maintain stock.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among front and back of house staff.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality and food service with experience in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent team management skills, capable of leading a diverse kitchen team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
- Proficient in kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
