Special Education Tutor, Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)
Help one student. Change one family's life. Rediscover why you became a teacher.
At TeachItRight, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, regardless of the challenges they face.
TeachItRight was founded after seeing firsthand how many incredible students are slipping through the cracks of an increasingly overwhelmed education system. Too many families are searching for support, and too many passionate teachers no longer have the time, resources, or opportunity to provide the individualized teaching they know their students deserve. We created TeachItRight to change that.
Our mission is simple. To connect exceptional educators with students who need them most while giving teachers the professional respect, autonomy, and support they deserve.
We're building a community where educators can focus on what they do best. Teaching. Building relationships. Celebrating progress. Helping children discover what they're truly capable of.
Our Current Opportunity
We're currently looking for an Ontario Certified Teacher to support a 15-year-old student with autism through our Teacher-Led Tutoring Program. He is non-verbal, attends a specialized autism classroom, and is making steady progress toward greater independence.
He:
- Loves his weekly piano lessons.
- Follows routines well.
- Enjoys connecting with the trusted adults in his life.
His family is looking for an educator who will become another trusted part of his journey. Together, you'll focus on developing fine motor skills, building a functional pencil grasp, recognizing letters and numbers, following directions, and continuing to build his confidence and independence through meaningful, one-on-one learning experiences.
We believe the best outcomes happen when teachers aren’t doing it alone.
At TeachItRight, we don't just match teachers with students. We bring together teachers and families who are committed to working as one team. That means families who value your professional expertise. Families who communicate openly. Families who understand that meaningful progress is built through consistency, collaboration, and trust.
You will never be expected to navigate challenges on your own. You will have a leadership team that checks in, listens, problem-solves alongside you, and genuinely wants you to succeed because we know that when our teachers feel supported, our students suceed too.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to learn more about you.
