Duties
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units to ensure reliable performance.
- Install new HVAC equipment following detailed schematics and technical specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, such as drainage or water supply connections.
- Utilize welding skills for repairs or modifications of ductwork or metal components when necessary.
- Read and interpret mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for accurate troubleshooting and installation.
- Assist with boiler maintenance and repairs to ensure consistent heating performance during colder months.
- Support appliance repair tasks related to HVAC-related devices or systems within the facility.
- Apply construction experience when upgrading or modifying existing mechanical systems in building projects.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and system conditions for ongoing maintenance planning.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with HVAC systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems.
- Skilled in plumbing work related to HVAC applications.
- Experience with welding techniques for metal ductwork or component repairs.
- Ability to read complex schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Construction background beneficial for system upgrades or modifications in building projects.
- Familiarity with appliance repair related to HVAC equipment is a plus.
- Prior experience working with mechanical systems in commercial or industrial settings is highly desirable.

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
