Job Summary
The Cementing Bulk Truck Driver is responsible for maintaining, preparing and operating the equipment used to provide bulk cement into storage silo or pumper.
Responsibility
- Drive, maintain, prepare, and operate Bulk truck for each and every job.
- Operate the bulk unit to perform proper on-site rig in (assemble) and rig out (disassemble) procedures, blow cement into silos or provide cement for pumper, final inspections, and assist with location clean up.
- Develop and apply an understanding of all pressure gauges in the operator panel.
- Monitor air pressure
- Inspect and perform function tests before equipment leaves yard, ensuring all components are in working order.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on equipment maintenance and repairs (i.e. 300-hour maintenance, greasing unit), and submit paper work before shift end.
- Perform shop maintenance on field equipment when required, including spring maintenance and trailer inspections.
- Assist the Supervisor in job preparations and incident reporting.
- Adhere to and enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation.
- Develop and maintain strong external/internal client relationships in support of company values and objectives.
- Establish and maintain procedures to ensure high level of service.
- Be able to work alone and follow assigned directions to location.
- Must be able to put on tire chains.
- Participate in training and development activities.
Skills
- Experience in oil and gas field operations.
- Experience with rig in and rig out procedures, using a pneumatic trailer, final inspections, and clean up.
- Experience with equipment and components, including bulk equipment.
- Maintenance knowledge, mechanically inclined, and have the ability to troubleshoot.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and required paperwork.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and dependable.
- Flexible and able to adapt to change.
- Understands the importance of safety.
- Team player and customer service focused.
- Demonstrated initiative and results orientated.
Qualifications
- Valid class 1 (Canada) driver’s license
- Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg., bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
- Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions.
- Able to make the maximum shift of a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule on the base and the field. The Specific Schedule will depend on the projects.
- Able to work in congested or confined areas, and with exposure to loud noises and vibration.
- Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.

- Class 1 Driver’s license, 5yr drivers abstract with no more than 3 demerits
- Oilfield Safety Tickets H2S, First Aid, TDG, CSO, WHMIS, A&D Test
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $20.18-$48.76 per hour
