Job Description
The successful candidate will be trained to operate 3–4 farmers’ markets per week across the Vancouver area while also working as a part-time barista in our coffee shops.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Sales
- Transport and set up market booth (tent, 6-ft table, and packaged coffee products)
- Sell packaged coffee and engage customers using product knowledge
- Handle cash and process credit/debit payments via Square (mobile phone required)
- Follow all market rules and regulations
- Maintain organized and professional product displays
Barista Duties
- Take orders using POS system
- Prepare coffee beverages, teas, desserts, and sandwiches
- Perform light cleaning and sanitizing (washing dishes, wiping tables, cleaning floors and the washroom)
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
Requirements
- Must have own vehicle to transport market equipment
- Sales and customer service experience
- Minimum 1 year barista and sales experience
- Comfortable handling cash and mobile payment processing
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Ability to stand for 4–5 hours continuously
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Assets
- Latte art skills
- Market or event sales experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
