We’re a boutique interior design firm located in the heart of Roncesvalles, Toronto, specializing in high-end residential design projects. At Jessica Cinnamon Design we specialize in large-scale renovations and custom-designed new build homes, with project budgets typically ranging between $400,000 and $10,000,000 in scale.
We’re looking for an Interior Design Assistant / Social Media Coordinator to support our Principal Designer and team this summer, with the potential to continue on beyond. This is a great fit for a university student or recent grad who’s organized, reliable, and has a creative eye for photo and video content. You’ll split your time between hands-on support around the studio and creating the content that brings our work to life online.
Responsibilities:
- Running errands and pick-ups/drop-offs for the Principal and design team (samples, deliveries, supplies, site visits)
- Filming and editing engaging video content (reels, stories) for Instagram
- Creating photo and written content for our social channels
- AutoCAD drawings/renderings/photoshop work
- General personal assistance to the Principal — scheduling, coordination, day-to-day support
- Helping maintain the sample library, filing, and general office organization
- Occasional support at client sites, showrooms, or vendor pick-ups
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Must have a 4-year degree in interior design or architectural design
- A strong eye for photography and videography, with an interest in design, lifestyle, or content creation
- Comfortable filming and editing videos for social media
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to take initiative without much hand-holding
- Professional, friendly, and polished communication
- Must live local to Toronto/GTA
Details:
- Part-time contract position for Summer 2026, with potential for ongoing work into the fall
- 4 days per week, 3–5 hour shifts, 3-4 days a week in-office at our 102 Roncesvalles Ave studio
- A flexible schedule is required
- Compensation commensurate with experience
- Mileage will be reimbursed
