The candidate responsible for driving revenue growth within the transportation sector by developing sales strategies, leading high-performing sales teams, and building strong relationships with key clients and partners. This role focuses on expanding market presence, securing strategic accounts, and delivering profitable growth across transportation services such as logistics, freight, fleet solutions, or mobility services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in the transportation sector
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional or national sales teams
- Identify new business opportunities, strategic accounts, and partnership prospects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and industry stakeholders
- Oversee the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable pricing
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior leadership
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–4 years of sales experience, with significant experience in transportation, logistics, or mobility services
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities
- Experience managing large or strategic accounts
