We are seeking an experienced Finisher for our shop located in Toronto, ON.
What We Do:
Fabricate and Finish a wide variety of products. These include Museums, Science centers, Luxury ski resorts, public art installations, film and television sets, pop-up shops, fashion events, corporate events and Live stage productions. These projects include interactive displays, games and mechanically operated parts which require a skilled team of designers to create, test and prove sustainability and longevity in the marketplace.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working to a standard on all projects to meet our expectation of quality
- Have at least 5 years of finishing experience
- Ensuring that the paint shop is always equipped for success
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of paint needed
- Ability to paint and stain by hand and spray
- Preparing wood from beginning to end
- Must be able to paint with various painting equipment
- Must be able to use spray gun
- Ability to work with all kinds of paint and substrates
This Position Requires:
- A motivated person with a positive attitude
- Very good communication skills and work well with other team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment and adapt quickly to new procedures.
- The ability to Read blueprints, drawings and sketches
- Proficiency and accuracy with, spray equipment, rollers etc.
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
