Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with excellent customer service and strong communication skills, positive attitude and strong work ethics. The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
- Respond to inquiries over the phone, in person and via Email
- Conduct employer outreach through telephone and email to identify & secure appropriate placement sites for students based on program requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective placement employers
- Follow up with employers regarding student performance, attendance, progress and placement experience
- Meet with students to discuss placement requirements, expectations and timelines
- Conduct classroom visits and information sessions with students
- Match students with suitable placement opportunities aligned with their career goals and program needs.
- Prepare and distribute placement agreements and ensure proper documentation is signed.
- Maintain regular communication with students throughout placement process
- Monitor student progress and promptly address concerns, challenges or barriers that may affect placement success
- Process and submit WSIB coverage documentation
- Maintain accurate records of employer contacts, opportunities and outcomes
- Ensure all placements comply with college policies and relevant regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date placement trackers, databases, spreadsheets, and student records.
- Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
- Advanced in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word), One Drive, Adobe & Teams
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision in fast paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines & targets
- Previous experience in education, employment or student services, customer service or related environment is an asset
- Professional, approachable and student-focused attitude

Hours: Monday- Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L5B 1M5
