Principales responsabilités
- Maîtrise du logiciel : Développer une compréhension approfondie du logiciel ERA, de ses fonctionnalités, de ses capacités de suivi des données et de ses outils de production de rapports.
- Implantation chez les clients : Collaborer avec les clients pour évaluer leurs besoins en conformité, configurer le logiciel et fournir des conseils sur son utilisation.
- Gestion de projets : Assurer la coordination des projets d’implantation, gérer les échéanciers et la portée des travaux afin de garantir une mise en œuvre réussie.
- Service à la clientèle : Agir comme principal point de contact, répondre aux questions et résoudre les problèmes afin d’assurer la satisfaction des clients.
- Soutien au développement logiciel : Travailler avec les équipes de développement pour définir de nouvelles exigences, concevoir des scénarios de test et contribuer à l’amélioration des fonctionnalités.
- Tests logiciels : Effectuer des tests approfondis, documenter les résultats et formuler des recommandations.
- Développement de contenu : Rédiger de la documentation technique, des guides de formation, des webinaires et d’autres ressources pour soutenir les utilisateurs.
- Consultation environnementale : Conseiller les clients sur les processus industriels liés à la quantification des émissions atmosphériques, des rejets d’eau et des déchets, afin de soutenir leur conformité réglementaire.
- Formation : Offrir des séances de formation aux clients et au personnel interne pour optimiser l’utilisation du logiciel.
Qualifications et compétences recherchées
- Baccalauréat en chimie, biochimie, génie de l’environnement, génie chimique, sciences de l’environnement ou domaine connexe.
- 1 à 3 ans d’expérience en consultation ou en fabrication liée aux gaz à effet de serre, aux calculs d’émissions atmosphériques, à la gestion des déchets ou aux exigences réglementaires.
- Connaissance des pratiques et réglementations environnementales courantes.
- Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément.
- Grande attention aux détails et rigueur dans la documentation.
- Approche proactive et capacité à prendre des initiatives.
- Capacité à travailler efficacement dans un environnement dynamique.
- Flexibilité et adaptabilité face aux priorités changeantes.
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication écrite et orale en anglais.
- Capacité à collaborer avec des équipes multidisciplinaires.
- Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes.
- Maîtrise des applications Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook).
- Expérience avec TFS ou des outils similaires de gestion de projet (un atout).

Une excellente maîtrise de l’anglais oral et écrit est essentielle, puisque la majorité de notre clientèle est anglophone. Le rôle implique des communications fréquentes avec des clients, partenaires et parties prenantes techniques situés à l’extérieur du Québec.

Junior Environmental Scientist

We currently have one position open for: Junior Environmental Scientist
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Software Expert: Gain a deep understanding of the ERA Software, including its functionalities, data tracking capabilities, and reporting features.
- Client Implementation: Collaborate with clients to assess compliance needs, configure the software, and provide guidance on setup and usage.
- Project Leadership: Lead client implementation projects by communicating with clients, managing timelines and scope of work for a successful implementation.
- Client Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues for client satisfaction.
- Software Design & Development Support: Work with development teams to design and define new requirements and testing scenarios for new software functionalities.
- Software Testing: Conduct thorough testing of new features and bug fixes, documenting results and providing feedback for improvement.
- Content Development: Develop technical documentation, training materials, webinars, and other resources to support clients and enhance the understanding and utilization of our software.
- Environmental Consulting: Provide guidance on industrial processes to quantify air emissions, water releases, and waste shipments, helping our clients ensure their compliance.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for clients and internal staff to promote effective software usage and maximize benefits.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related fields.
- 1-3 years of consulting or manufacturing experience related to Greenhouse Gases, Air emission calculations, Waste Management, Environmental Regulations, and/or Manufacturing Regulatory Reporting.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures with regards to environmental policies and regulations.
- Organizational skills: Demonstrated ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently, even during busy periods.
- Attention to detail: Keen eye for details, ability to capture and document information accurately and track changes effectively.
- Proactive: Self-motivated and driven to take initiative, identifying areas for improvement and communicate action without request or constant supervision.
- Ability to maintain calm composure and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability: Willingness and ability to adjust plans and priorities based on changing circumstances.
- Strong communication skills: Effective verbal and written communication in English. Ability to convey complex information, ask relevant questions, and document project updates clearly and concisely.

Justified English Requirement: An Excellent Knowledge of spoken and written English is essential for this position, as a majority portion of our client base is English-speaking. This role involves frequent communication with clients, partners, and technical stakeholders located outside Québec.
This requirement is strictly limited to the tasks that specifically necessitate the use of English. An internal assessment has confirmed that no existing staff can reasonably perform these English‑language responsibilities.
