Kinton Ramen Windermere is opening in September 2026, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our opening team.
Starting wage: $18+/hour + tips (based on experience)
Full-time management position | Opening team opportunity
4 weeks Training provided in Calgary, training support, including travel and accommodation, will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily back-of-house operations and ensure food quality and consistency
- Train, coach, and develop kitchen team members
- Manage food preparation, inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization
- Support hiring, onboarding, and team development
- Work closely with the General Manager to achieve operational goals
- Lead by example in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen leadership or culinary management experience
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for food, teamwork, and developing people
- Food Safety certification required
- Japanese culinary experience is an asset
