We are currently looking to hire Full-time and Part-time Specialists and CDSP's for our Step Down Program. Staff will provide support to individuals with complex needs. The focus will be on life skills and personal independence to transition to a community residential program. Staff must work well in a team environment to support individual with their daily routines, personal care, behavior management, community inclusion, life skills, independence & actively participate in & drive clients to community activities. Must have experience with complex behaviors & following comprehensive Behavior Support Plans.
Qualifications:
- must have experience with complex behaviors & following Behavior Support Plans
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to work well with a team, establish clear boundaries and maintain a structured routine
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license/reliable transportation
- Clean vulnerable sector check
- Successful candidates must have/be willing to obtain First Aid certification
- Willing to travel to Lacombe
- Available for Agency training applicable to position
Opportunities:
- Monday-Friday (FT)-7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm
- Sunday-Thursday (FT) 11pm-7am-overnight awake
- 4 on 4 off 12pm-10pm (FT)
- alternating weekends (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am)
