Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Quality Coordinator to support our industrial construction projects in Logan Lake, BC. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently while maintaining strict quality standards.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic construction environment, with the ability to support both project coordination and quality control functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction activities
- Maintain and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Lead/support quality control processes, including inspections, documentation, and compliance tracking
- Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project timelines are met
- Monitor project progress and provide status updates
- Ensure adherence to company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Perform site-based coordination and support construction activities as required
- Support audits and maintain QA/QC records and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Experience in project coordination within industrial or construction environments
- Strong knowledge or hands-on experience in quality control / quality assurance processes
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); project management software is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a field environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
Preferred Assets
- Technical or construction-related education.
- Familiarity with QA/QC documentation systems, inspections, and reporting
- Experience working on active construction sites in a field-based role
- Experience with concrete construction and related quality control processes is an asset
Work Schedule
- 5 days per week
- 10-hour workdays
- Site-based position in Logan Lake (no rotation)
