Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Pump Operator to join our construction team.MUST HAVE CLASS 3 or 1 DRIVERS LICENSE The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating concrete pumping equipment efficiently and safely on various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, construction processes, and safety protocols. The Concrete Pump Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate placement of concrete, supporting the overall progress of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate concrete pumping equipment to deliver concrete to designated areas on construction sites
- Set up and inspect pump machinery before use, ensuring all safety standards are met
- Coordinate with construction crews to determine the best placement of concrete and troubleshoot any operational issues
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on pump equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist with other related tasks such as loader operation, excavator operation, or concrete finishing as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment used throughout each shift
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including concrete pumps, loaders, or excavators
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery and troubleshooting skills
- Prior experience in construction environments, particularly with paving, concrete forming, or finishing is preferred
- Valid class 3 driver’s license
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to operate machinery safely under various conditions
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy materials when necessary
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
