Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining environment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while delivering memorable experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, utilizing POS systems such as Givex, Touch Bistro
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy service periods to serve guests promptly
- Provide guest services that promote a positive dining experience, including accommodating special requests
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industries preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume service periods
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Experience with food preparation and kitchen support is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
