Summary
We are seeking a Junior Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team in. This role is vital in supporting our mission to provide top-tier security solutions by assisting with the installation and maintenance of low voltage systems. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of low voltage security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Support senior technicians in configuring network equipment such as routers and switches.
- Help troubleshoot technical issues related to telecommunications and networking.
- Use hand tools effectively for system installation tasks.
- Read schematics and technical diagrams to ensure accurate system setup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures during all tasks.
- Qualifications
- Mandatory: Basic knowledge of computer networking, CCTV systems, and electrical experience.
- Preferred: Experience with Ethernet cabling, schematics reading, VoIP systems, Cisco or Juniper networking equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies related to low voltage systems.
