Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation guidelines
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods without compromising quality of service
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly desirable, especially in serving roles within the food industry
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
- Basic math skills for order accuracy, check splitting, and cash handling
- Experience with food safety standards and proper serving techniques is preferred
- Ability to manage time efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality background or experience in guest services will be advantageous for success in this role
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
