Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items to order, and assisting in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food safety practices, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food is stored properly and inventory levels are maintained
- Assist with plating dishes for service and ensure timely delivery to guests
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- Knowledge of meal preparation and food safety regulations is highly desirable
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during shifts

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
